The NSCT-HRCNN algorithm efficiently merges infrared and visible images, overcoming limitations of traditional and deep learning methods by preserving color and detail without extensive training . It uses Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT) and Hierarchical Random-Coupled Neural Networks (HRCNN) .
