This is from the new hidream e1 1 model code. Figured it might be useful as a generic cfg trick.

Hey there,

from your ComfyUI Official Documentation I tried your new HiDream E1.1 Workflow:
the node "CFGNorm" is missing and I can not install it via ComfyUI manager.

Is it important? Does the workflow work (just as well) without it? What exactly does it do?

Cheers

UPDATE: now it works

I did not notice that my ComfyUI portable version did not update properly via the manager since almost 3 month! ...

Instead I had to update via opening CMD and run:

git restore main.py
git checkout master
git pull

(inside of my "...\ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI" folder)

Hello again,

I have regenerated my previous ouputs (same settings + seeds) only this time with the activated CFGNorm node. Unfortunately I have to say that with the activated CFGNorm node pretty much all results look (subjectively) worse.

Hence my initial question: what exactly is this node supposed to do?

Cheers
