As mentioned in this post:
We are now using in this release, the official complete image from travis, actually this is the real image that they are using to run your CI internally. This is so great because we are approaching the behavior or Travis CI, however there is a counter part, it's the fact that, the image build is heavy, approx 4GB to download compressed and then 10GB on your hard drive. I know this is a lot, and can repulse some people. On the other hand, you just have to download the image once, can be deleted in a seconds.
The usage of the travis official image will be available in a specific release (latest) but you can still use the previous release with a lighter size.
