Good catch!
I wonder if we should have a test for this. I am just a bit uncertain how an ideal test would look like. It would be possible to mock the call, while that would not let us know that things are working as expected.
@dmehala can we read the information easily to check for the passed through config?

@BridgeAR While the process is running, we can open and decode the file content to assess what's inside. In fact, that's exactly what the system test is doing. Does that help clarify your question?
The test was still disabled for nodejs. After enabling it and fixing a bug in the test itself (DataDog/system-tests#5037), it passes with a local build of the tracer with this fix (and fails without it, as expected). |
