Today I didn't manage to do a lot because I was quite busy, but I managed to create a script that automates the process of building/bundling the app for muOS, which is going to make the process of testing the app a lot easier

4/365: Drew a statue of ancient warrior (experimented with shading, like a lot so it might be bit weeeeeird or dark, as well i ain't the best with human figures so maybe be bit weeeeeeeeeird as well kek) Time: Maybe half hr not that long kek Yap: Tried new method of drawing, just sketching with very few lines (like barely to see em) and then slowly fill in lines, it turned out great well as great i could have done it, the legs felt bit small and short and weird and i kinda don't like em

but otherwise i am happy with the mystical sword that has fragments floating around it :DD

3/365: Drawing some trees (actually one, mimic of a tree

), i am gonna be honest i haven't used color in WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY to long so i am soo happy to see that i still have some good coloring in me :DD (used crayons since they were lying around from yesterday kek) Time: took me bout 1 podcast bout socialengineer (1hr 10min), 1 yt documentary (20min) and a bit of hard metal band logo solving vid (20min) so bout 1hr 50 mins :)) Yap: so in start i drew a tree and saw that few of the branches looked organic even, so i decided it's gonna be mimic tree :DD then drew everything using marker (took bout 1hr) then i saw crayons on my desk and had this urge to add color... so i wasted another hr just doing that

, anyways i think the end result is super cool :)) (altho i still can't draw anything human shaped ;-;)

Today I started working on a new project: Fantasy Downloader It's an app made with Love2D for mustardOS that will streamline the process of acquiring games/cartridges for fantasy consoles like PICO-8 I created a simple "Hello World" program and wrote a simple design document to hold all my ideas in one place

went to cognihacks and create a webapp called locked out with teammates! the headset isnt really working so we worked with virtual headset and simulation for the data, and worked on various different functions. i really love this team and we got to work actually on different parts of the webapp, so no merge conflicts (and conflicts) came out! i also implemented spotify control with web playback api since the normal web api auth was not working well after like 3 hours ish of testing out..? i think we are pretty close to the award since so many judges came and expressed their appreciation, but somehow the winner was someone with fake backend since no data can really be collected from the emotiv headset and how were they about to make prediction??? but whatever i love this team and i hope future hackathons as good as this one! the judge was even like "can i take a photo with your team" and asking for our linkedin

i feel so close to winning but maybe next time

Hello guys.. I made a simple wallpaper scalper... drew two pigeons with illustrator! experimenting with another art style bc i made this by literally just blocking out shapes. it was pretty fun though reference was a photo i took of some pigeons in sf during undercity

downloaded earth topology data from NASA in geotiff format, parsed it and rendered the real terrain of the region I live in using Zig and Sokol GFX 😄 it will need polishment but still its cool :))

i'm thinking the main theme is ISLAND (mildly inspired by shipwrecked) so they have to sail to the island and then each part of website is a different area of the island if that makes sense

Kinda forgot to add the V1 one, but this is the v2, and the main difference is I started work on a custom ball joint, and also made the phone holder take up a lot less filament since it was quite bulky. In the V1, I also added a custom rail system (which is shown in the video) to allow the top part of come off to slide in the phone, and then slide back one to lock back in.

) ‼️ im actually pretty happy with how it turned out! it was a big improvement from the questionable shark thing i made yesterday, probably because i actually followed a proper blender tutorial this time. i still spent like 4 or 5 hours on it

, but i feel like if i redid it now, i could probably do in 1-2 hours. there's a timelapse attached btw. i did learn a lot of stuff! the hardest part maybe was probably unwrapping the UVs? next im gonna rig it and make it dance or something

made an machine learning snake playing bot

another scrapbook post oop, but i did attempt to make a blender shark from the irl clay shark ceramic i made. i kinda winged it so its EXTREMELY scuffed and lowk has some holes on the forehead, BUT it was still fun to make

i would improve it but all the vertexs are just spaghettiiii next i will attempt to make the little otter ceramic in blender

I plan to deploy it on the web soon since macroquad makes that easy, but you can play it right now on Linux, Mac and Windows! It’s called CloudCat and basically you have a cat, and rain clouds and your objective is to protect the cat using an umbrella (triggered for 3s via hitting the space bar)! I hand animated the cat & cloud and those are my first ever animations too!!
