There are multiple sources for street-level imagery:

• Mapillary by Meta (implemented)
• KartaView
• Panoramax

The first one has good coverage but it isn't good for privacy. Firefox blocks images from Mapillary as photos are loaded from fbcdn.net.
It'd be nice to use multiple sources.
