This error message occurs when attempting to download from a long playlist. I have experienced it starting at around the 180th item on some playlists. Here it starts at about 280. Before the cutoff yt-dlp retrieves information as normal, following the cutoff point all requests generate the error message.
Provide verbose output that clearly demonstrates the problem
- Run your yt-dlp command with -vU flag added (
yt-dlp -vU <your command line>) - If using API, add
'verbose': TruetoYoutubeDLparams instead - Copy the WHOLE output (starting with
