Describe the bug
When using the Twenty Twenty-Two, on a variable product's page, when I select the variations, the gallery does not show the corresponding image.

Expected behavior
By default WooCommerce will swap the main variation image in the gallery when you select a product variation.

Actual behavior
When selectin variations, the gallery does not update, and all images all shown.

Steps to reproduce the bug (We need to be able to reproduce the bug in order to fix it.)

• Make sure you have WP 5.9.0 beta and choose the Twenty Twenty-Two theme (use Beta tester for updating WP )
• Add the WC sample products for testing

1. Go to a variable product page (V-Neck T-Shirt)
2. Select options for the product (Color: red & size: Large)
3. Look at the gallery and notice that all images are shown when only the red T-shirt should be visible

• I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only WooCommerce plugin is active.
• This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Storefront.
• I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
