We should at least catch the exception.

Test notes

• Run Tuta Mail as the system user (note: the actual system user - running as administrator is not enough; also this is very horribly dangerous, so do this in a VM), close the window, and receive an email.
  • The expected result is that, while you won't get a notification, it won't error, either.
  • You can use PsExec to help achieve this.
• Run Tuta Mail normally and verify that notifications are received.
