Hi man! I'm ready to dive into this, but we need to understand the goals. Since you said that Riot.js is complete and doesn’t require any new features, I’ve kind of lost — hmm, not interest, but the purpose to do something. But if we can find some direction to develop it and maybe restart some paradigm, then why not? |

I'm also happy to help out where needed (i.e. docs, issue management, etc), but I'll admit that I'm am not very familiar with the codebase. I agree that it would be good to discuss goals for Riot. One main advantage of other ✨obviously inferior✨ JS libraries is the sheer number of components that exist for them; Riot appears to be missing these. Back in the day, there were the RiotGear projects, but these are no longer maintained. I'm not sure if any attempt has been made to resurrect a set of "standard" web components for Riot in 2025... or perhaps even design them with a particular CSS framework (i.e. Bulma, Bootstrap, or others) in mind. Anyways, congrats @GianlucaGuarini on growing your family! Thanks for all you have done with Riot. |

Congrats @GianlucaGuarini and thanks for the years taking care of Riot.js. Not sure if I can help. I only reported issues and made several doc PRs to annoy you over the past years... Since don't know what can do, I am wondering if we can have a work practice, something like |

I've been a fan of this project for years and would love to contribute if possible, but getting up to speed seems daunting. I agree that improved tooling and documentation would go a long way. |

I have been maintaining Riot.js since 2015 and after 10 years of collaborating with several developers from all over the world, I am left alone :(
Initially we were a team of about 4/5 devs but the others lost interest into the project and I am looking for other collaborators to help me out in maintaining it
I am about to get a second child soon and my time to work on Riot.js has shrunken massively during the last few months.
The v10 release is just around the corner but I need help to finish the work left
I will continue to coordinate the work and own the repos and the npm packages. Anyone willing to contribute will be compensated with through our donations https://opencollective.com/riot
I will be available for one on ones to guide through the code and triage the work
Thank you
