0.30.0-alpha.1 is a pre-release of the upcoming 0.30.0 release. It is intended for testing and
feedback. Please report any issues you encounter. The primary change is that we've split the crate
into multiple crates. The main crate is now ratatui-core and the widgets are in ratatui-widgets.
This allows for widget crates to depend on a stable core crate, and for the core crate to be used
without widgets.

Very strange... I don't see anything in the CI logs but maybe some template variable was not found or something.

I ran GIT_TOKEN=$(gh auth token) release-plz update -v locally and also got an empty changelog... Updating cliff.toml (to be compatible with git-cliff) and running git cliff -u works though.

Yes, that's what I said "to be compatible with git-cliff" above, release-plz is sadly not fully compliant with it and it is using template variables that does not exist in git-cliff.

Ah got it. I did wonder where that was coming from. Will dig into it a bit more over the next few days (or feel free to do the same). It would be good to get a new alpha out (and then a beta that we can ask to widget libs to test against).

Looks like it's only the PR comment that's not updated right. The actual changelog.md file seems correct. On that basis I'd be fine pushing out another alpha release soon. Maybe see what we can get over the line on the no_std stuff this weekend perhaps? That shouldn't be a blocker though. I mostly want to see the impact of the various recent changes and start some downstream tests.

It would be great if we can merge #1840 and #1838 (this one needs polyfills to work properly) before release. I know it's alpha, but main has now a theoretical no_std support but doesn't compile.
