Looks like you also deleted the tag, so that's good. But I'm curious why this is needed? Seems nice for people using alpha to be able to use it in pre-commit. Is there some case it gets picked up automatically? |

Yes, pre-commit always picks up the last tag, including pre-releases. There was some discussion about this on Discord, I'll point you to the thread. |
