  • Configured to use go-version-file in setup go vs a explicit typed go version in build.yml
  • keeps versions in sync with go.mod while there is only one version run in the CI matrix
  • noticed this was already the case in the coverage workflow
  • same change made in cla.yaml

In addition

  • removed unnecessary ' around go.mod in workflow
  • renamed cla-bot.yaml -> cla-bot.yml so there is consistency of workflow file extensions (ie: not mixing yaml and yml)
