opening search on Android client freezes app #10771

- I searched and no similar issues were found
What Happened?
Each time I attempt to use search on the app it immediately freezes the app and I no longer input or interact with the app once the search window opens.
I've been noticing this for a couple versions now. I don't think I've seen the newest version of the search window work on mobile.
Reproduce the Bug
- Open app on Android
- Click the magnifying glass on the bottom bar, second from the left
- Enjoy non functional app
