This guide explains how to integrate Kindred Offers with Claude using our Machine Control Protocol (MCP) server. This integration enables users to discover relevant deals, coupons, and offers while shopping online.
Kindred Offers is a service that provides real-time shopping assistance through Claude. When enabled, it helps you find fresh discount codes and special offers while you're browsing online stores.
- An active Claude subscription
- Internet connection to access the MCP server
- Open Claude settings
- Navigate to the "Settings" section under Integrations
- Add a new MCP server named "Kindred Offers" with the following endpoint:
https://mcp.kindred.co/mcp/sse
- Save your settings
If setup successfully, you should see it as follows (note the 1 tool):
Once integrated, Kindred Offers works automatically in the background. When shopping online:
- Ask Claude for shopping assistance or recommendations
- Claude will connect to the Kindred Offers MCP server
- Relevant offers and discount codes will be presented to you
Example prompts:
- "Find me deals for electronics on Walmart"
- "Please recommend 5 sneaker brands that are good for running (I'm in the US). I would also love offers if there are any for these"
- Connection Errors: Ensure your internet connection is stable and the MCP endpoint is correctly entered
- No Offers Appearing: Some retailers may not have active offers in our system
- Delayed Responses: During peak times, the server may experience slight delays
- Initial Prompt: When Claude first tries to use this service, it will request for you to allow it to use this external service. You can select "Allow always" so that it can always use and access Kindred Offers.
