[Bug]: unable to send data from HOTRod to secured endpoint #6626
Description
What happened?
When trying to send data to secured endpoint, we see the error below:
2025/01/28 09:38:00 traces export: Post "https://domain.com:443/v1/traces": tls: failed to verify certificate: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority
Steps to reproduce
- Configured secured OtelCollector endpoint
- Point HOTRod data to the endpoint
Expected behavior
Expected the data to be send without any isues
