FreeBSD ipfs-go mount does not work #8846

After make it a daemon, and then running ipfs mount, it reports that the IPFS and IPNS are mounted:
# ./ipfs mount
IPFS mounted at: /ipfs
IPNS mounted at: /ipns
But trying to access the mounts results in an operation time out:
# cat /ipfs/QmQPeNsJPyVWPFDVHb77w8G42Fvo15z4bG2X8D2GhfbSXc/readme
cat: /ipfs/QmQPeNsJPyVWPFDVHb77w8G42Fvo15z4bG2X8D2GhfbSXc/readme: Operation timed out
df also takes a long while to run, but does not list the /ipfs or /ipns file systems.
This is running on the latest FreeBSD 14-current snapshot:

I attempted to run ipfs v0.11.0 built from source via the FreeBSD port's tree, but that had similar behavior. I have also build ipfs v0.12.1 from source using go 1.17.8 (ipfs failes to build on 1.18 as quic-go doesn't build), and had the same behavior.
