Description
System and IINA version:
- macOS 14.4.1
- IINA develop db43614
Expected behavior:
Smooth scaling of the video resolution when the player window is resized
Actual behavior:
Video resolution is fixed at the start of resize and only udpates after resize is done.
Steps to reproduce:
This is most apparent when resizing while paused.
- Open a video in IINA. Use a high-resolution video with fine details such as text for more obvious results.
- Pause the video.
- Resize the window down to its minimum size.
- Seek ahead in the video ~ 15 sec.
- Using the cursor, drag from the window's corner to expand the window to a much larger size, but do not release it yet. Notice the blockiness of the video picture.
- Release the cursor to end the drag. Notice that the video regains its fine detail and is no longer blocky.
- MPV does not have this problem.
