I realize that CI isn't doing exactly what we want for testing the minimal and dev versions. This PR fixes that.
Consequently the minimum required version for accelerate is 1.4.0, not 0.34.0
mergekit imposes a surprising constraint on accelerate. I'm removing it from the dependencies until they come up with something more flexible. arcee-ai/mergekit#595
