Is the oniom method fully functional in rel. 6.5?

When I run xtb cl.xyz --oniom turbomole:gfn2 1-98,99-488 --opt --alpb thf
the program crashes when starting Turbomole. The Turbomole files for atoms 1-98 exist (and Turbomole itself runs fine. I tried both Turbomole 7.5 and 7.6)
