Summary of Changes

Hello @gaby, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request significantly expands the testing and benchmarking coverage for Fiber's radix router implementation. It introduces a comprehensive set of new tests to ensure the robustness and correctness of various routing features, alongside a suite of performance benchmarks to monitor and optimize the router's efficiency. The changes also include a new helper function for custom context testing and the removal of an outdated benchmark file, contributing to a cleaner and more thoroughly validated codebase.

Highlights

  • Comprehensive Radix Router Testing: Introduced a large suite of new test cases to thoroughly validate the Fiber radix router's behavior across various scenarios, including path matching, middleware, error handling, and dynamic route management.
  • Enhanced Radix Router Benchmarking: Added a wide array of benchmarks to measure and ensure the performance of the radix router under different configurations and usage patterns, consolidating existing benchmarks.
  • New App Helper: Implemented newCustomRadixApp to simplify the creation of Fiber applications with custom contexts, specifically for radix routing tests.
  • Codebase Cleanup: Removed an obsolete benchmark file (router_radix_bench_test.go) as its contents were integrated into the main radix test file.

Code Review

The pull request enhances test coverage for the radix router by replicating existing router tests and benchmarks, ensuring feature parity and improving robustness. The removal of the obsolete benchmark file is a good cleanup. A couple of minor issues in the newly added tests have been identified and detailed in the comments.
