Your current Sonic version

Describe this feature

I noticed that Sonic has different version numbers in different places, which can be confusing:

• In README: 1.0.3
  

  sonic/README.md

  Line 45 in cc54b64

  wget https://github.com/go-sonic/sonic/releases/download/v1.0.3/sonic-linux-amd64.zip -O sonic.zip

• In setup page: 1.6.0
  

• In admin page: go1.19.5
  

• In github release: 1.0.8
  https://github.com/go-sonic/sonic/releases
  But all releases here are marked as Pre-release, why?

What I expected:

• all version numbers should be consistent
• the version number in the README should be up to date.
• new version check and auto-updates (if possible)
