After looking through the issues I found mention of a generic mechanism to add more ldap attributes to glauth. That seems like a good idea. Currently the database backends have no concept of migrations, so adding any new attributes at this point would likely break existing installs without user intervention.

So would a new jpegPhoto attribute be accepted if a PR was made? What would be required to get that accepted/merged? I don't know go, but the code base is nice and clean and seems like something I might be able to hack together.
