Hi @MackinnonBuck thank you updating the deps, that is very kind. Can I just ask you what the motivation is here? To increase adoption of the new release? To test the new release in real-world scenarios? To mitigate the impact of breaking changes on the community?

Hi @kaspermarstal,

Can I just ask you what the motivation is here? To increase adoption of the new release? To test the new release in real-world scenarios? To mitigate the impact of breaking changes on the community?

Yep, this is pretty spot on. Part of it is to ease the burden of reacting to breaking changes for early adopters of Microsoft.Extensions.AI. We also want to ensure that existing projects are able to adapt to these changes in the ways we expect. Also, by keeping most of the community on the latest version, we can more quickly identify and address any issues with the newest release.
