Description
In a project that has all device orientations enabled in xcode (including "Upside Down"), when rotating the xcode simulator to upside down orientation, the app continues to render as if it has not changed orientation to upside down. The onLayout
callback of a View
is also not called.
Furthermore, if I get dimensions from Dimensions.get('window')
when this rotation occurs (it's possible to detect the rotation occurring using the callback from react-native-orientation
, which does fire), dimensions reflect the previous orientation's values, rather than the expected values of portrait upside down (although if switching from portrait to upside down, they're coincidentally the same, but the values are inverted when switching from landscape to upside down).
This seems like the same issues as this ticket
