Steps to reproduce

1. Type out an emoji in :, :eyes:
2. Select it from the list
3. Press ctrl+z (a few times)

The state of the composer to go back to directly editing the raw emoji

What happened?

Inconsistent behaviour, but all of it either placing ctrl+z a while before selecting the emoji, or responding not at all.
