Hi! Thanks so much for the PR! It looks like a fix for the underlying issue was submitted in facebook#18547 and merged, so we'll wait for this to get released and cherry-picked in the appropriate places. Thanks! |
@anp any estimate on when this might get merged in? This is a fairly significant bug, and the fix was originally authored to RN 24 days ago... |

…acebook#46702) Summary: Pull Request resolved: facebook#46702 In facebook#44188, we've started combining multiple transactions in a single transaction, to meet React's atomicity requirements, while also dealing with the constraints of Android's Fabric implementation. This revealed a bug where in some scenarios (especially when using transitions), a node may be deleted and created during the same transaction. The current implementation of FabricMountingManager assumes it can safely reorder some operations, which it does to optimize the size of IntBufferBatch mount items. This is however incorrect and unsafe when multiple transactions are merged. **Example:** Differentiator output: ``` # Transaction 1 Remove facebook#100 from #11 Delete facebook#100 # Transaction 2 Create facebook#100 Insert facebook#100 into #11 ``` FabricMountingManager output ``` Remove facebook#100 from #11 Insert facebook#100 into #11 Delete facebook#100 ``` Note that the create action is also skipped, because we only update `allocatedViewTags` after processing all mutations, leading FabricMountingManager to assume creation is not required. This leads to an invalid state in SurfaceMountingManager, which will be surfaced as a crash in `getViewState` on the next mutation that interacts with these views. Changelog: [Android][Fixed] Fix crash in getViewState when using suspense fallbacks. …tion for existing view (facebook#51294) Summary: Pull Request resolved: facebook#51294 changelog: [internal] Fix a crash where a node that is supposed to be culled doesn't get visited because culling context is not updated. Motivation
According with this: https://github.com/reyalpsirc/react-native/commit/6b1831e
Ios will throw Invalid response for blob error on empty response. Fetch ll auto handle request as blob now. This will happen on 0.54 and later ( so mainly affect sdk26+ , so sdk27 seems bugged too )
I am not the main author of this patch, i'm just forwarding this to expo pull requests. Probably need some verification

IMPORTANT NOTES
This is just workaround, It's not a real fix of this behavior , introducing some problems due if used as
blob, and get empty response blob is invalid. To this i suggest to see this one: xiamx@b35071b
That is it, so feel free to refuse this pull request and instead apply xiamx patch.
