What is the user problem or growth opportunity you want to see solved?

Ghostty is a popular modern terminal emulator with over 27k stars as of 03-03-2025. A guarantee is that a good portion of those using Ghostty uses it in conjunction with Rofi. The issue is that the wrapper script does not include Ghostty while it includes other non-native terminals like Alacritty and Kitty, I believe it would be an appropriate addition.

How do you know that this problem exists today? Why is this important?

It's a lightweight solution to a sizeable amount of people using Ghostty in conjunction with Rofi. It shouldn't require an extra configuration option to be able to utilize a popular terminal emulator with a popular window switcher/application launcher/dmenu replacement.

Who will benefit from it?

Those who use Ghostty with Rofi.
