Description
In MET Help ticket 100067 we learned that the User's Guide doesn't describe how to reference the current field level in the field name. This capability was added for issue #708 but documenting this new functionality was missed.
Describe the Enhancement
Add to the Common Configuration Variables > Field Info section of the System Configuration chapter of the User's Guide to describe how the field level can be referenced in the field name, i.e.
FCST_VAR1_NAME = {INPUT_BASE}/myscripts/read_nc2xr.py {INPUT_BASE}/mydata/forecast_file.nc4 TMP {valid?fmt=%Y%m%d_%H%M} {fcst_level}
FCST_VAR1_LEVELS = P1000,P850,P700,P500,P250,P100
{fcst_level} and {obs_level} can be referenced in [FCST/OBS]_VAR_NAME when calling a tool like GridStat once per field (GRID_STAT_ONCE_PER_FIELD = True).
