Description
Describe the Enhancement
CPC discovered an opportunity for improvement when working with SeriesAnalysis. They want to read in multiple forecast input files and create a series of them, comparing against a single observation input file. They will also require looping over multiple lead and initialization times, with each combination receiving its own output file.
Currently, METplus wrappers cannot handle multiple input files while utilizing a timing keyword in both the LEVELS and TEMPLATE settings. METplus wrappers will send an empty forecast and observation field to Series-Analysis, causing it to fail.
The data necessary to reproduce this finding is on Seneca, under /d1/projects/METplus/METplus_Data/development/feature_2219/CPC_SeriesAnalysis_failingRun.tar It consists of four forecast files, 1 observation file, and a configuration file.
