Enhance MODE wrapper to support multi-variate MODE #1585

@georgemccabe

Description

@georgemccabe

MODE wrapper currently runs once per field and can only accept a single input file for each type.

Example call to MODE including input data can be found here:
seneca:/d1/projects/METplus/METplus_Data/development/feature_1585_multivar_mode

Describe the Enhancement

Enhance the wrapper to be able to configure a multi-variate MODE run. Consider creating a separate wrapper to handle multi-variate MODE runs if the logic is very different.

This will involve:

  • Setting multivar_logic MET config variable
  • Allow the tool to be run with all of the input fields at once
  • Allow the wrapper to read multiple input files for each input type
  • Others?
