A bug was discovered in version 10.0.0 of BUFRLIB posted on:

   http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/sib/decoders/BUFRLIB/

The bug causes the PB2NC tool to read a handful fewer PREPBUFR messages from any given PREPBUFR file than it should. The bugfix is an updated to the "rewnbf.f". Once an updated version of BUFRLIB is posted:

(1) Send email to registered MET users recommending they get the newer version of BUFRLIB.

(2) Post information on the known issues page of the MET website.
