Description

Running all linux test-types/groups multiplied by all python-versions (=24) on all linux platforms is maybe overkill, but enabling some tests on other platforms at least proves that the test can be run there if desired.

This got possible by the multi-platform containers via #11560

Checklist - did you ...

  • Add a file to the news directory (using the template) for the next release's release notes?
  • Add / update necessary tests?
  • Add / update outdated documentation?

@dbast, I definitely agree with wanting to test more platforms, but I am a little weary of the 3.5 hour run time of the ppc64le test. I am not sure it's viable to have such long running tests for each PR.
