Currently to state sync there is a requirement on rpcs for verification. While everyone is use to this it slows down the process of state syncing a node. In the ideal scenario a user is able to set a peer and start the node in state sync, then it will get all the data needed to sync a snapshot. This would a be huge improvement over the current ux
