This ticket is to fix the failures in the Scala-Native build (WIP PR here #394) so that we can re-enable publishing for Scala-Native.

Some tests can probably be fixed, others will need to be moved to src-jvm/ to run only on the JVM. Each JVM only test will need an explanation for why it cannot be fixed in scala-native and needs to be disabled for that platform
