There is one place in the McpHub that sends messages mcp notification messages directly to the webview (not using the ProtoBus). There is nowhere in the webview that is listening for this message, so this code is not doing anything.

I need to remove this because I am moving the references to
postMessageToWebviewinto the vscode specific part of the extension.
