This line says that it can be removed once v1.17 is released:

cilium/cilium-cli/connectivity/tests/errors.go

Line 443 in f78aca7

unableTranslateCIDRgroups stringMatcher = "Unable to translate all CIDR groups to CIDRs" // Can be removed once v1.17 is released.

v1.17 was released almost five months ago, so if the comment is accurate then this variable can now be removed.
