We need to provide interface names to enable L2 announcement. But we can provide the wildcard and if interface names are not provided, it uses all the interfaces. However, in case of L2 pod announcement, interface name is a mandatory field which does not support the wildcard option.

The interface name is not constant across nodes with pci slot-based naming and it can change for a node too with changes in pci slot or debian upgrade. We need something similar to L2 announcement for pod announcement as well where it can send it to all the devices.
