Bromite update notifications are enabled by default since version 94.0.4606.109.

Since version 99.0.4844.55 there is an additional version check performed against the upstream Chromium major version: if Bromite major version does not match upstream your browser might be vulnerable to attacks.

You can enable or disable update notifications via Settings -> About Bromite.

When this setting is enabled the Bromite GitHub releases will be checked every 3 days and user will be notified if a new update is available.
