Steps to reproduce

Set help to a non-empty string value and then set help to either an empty string or undefined.

In the case of an empty string, it is much more obvious, but even with undefined, there is still a slight shift.

What is expected?

No vertical shift

What is actually happening?

There is a vertical shift
