If you make changes in the preferences window example on a Basic tab (Appearance) and you change to the Advanced tab the changes you made in Basic are no longer valid. So you cant make changes in different tabs and then save them once and for all. You have to save every tab on its own.

Go to Basic tab
Change Appearance to dark
Change to Advanced and make changes
Save the changes
Changes on a Basic tab are not saved

I expected i can make changes to every tab and save them all together at one time.
