Currently, the viewer's "Pen Width" menu applies only to those layers which have no pen width specified.

At minima, it should be renamed "Default Pen Width" (or something better) to indicate that layers whose pen width is set are not affected.

In addition, an option to override the layers' pen width might be useful.
