Problem

• We currently have a privacy preserving alternatives system when you click on "Compare to category"
• Few people know what it's about (they don't click through)
• We compare to a subset of the actual category (eg: we don't show the very best products we have in the database, but rather one of the first 25, 50, 100…)

Proposed solution

• Have an (optional) inline carousel with alternative products that match your preferences (and that sends your preferences for a server side sorting of all products)
• Have a privacy consent system to make it clear that it will send your preferences when asking to rank the products
• Show a carousel with the 5 most compatible products (and a button to show more)

• Which backend to use ? Search v2 ? Elastic ?
