I can't keep chasing backwards incompatibilities... if someone wants to send to elastic, please contribute. I rarely use it myself and it's just slowing things down.

Anyone interested can start with chasing down a way to avoid java.lang.IllegalStateException: running tests but failed to invoke RandomizedContext#getRandom in a unit test that is specifically testing that a builder can build a class that has a TransportClient. The attitude of the elastic team seems to be oh well, sucks to be you (see elastic/elasticsearch#22494).
