golint tool is deprecated #167
Description
I received this warning from the qa/lint.sh script:

WARN [runner] The linter 'golint' is deprecated (since v1.41.0) due to: The repository of the linter has been archived by the owner. Replaced by revive.
We should replace our usage of golint with revive, or perhaps staticcheck
