A set of unit tests should be implemented/migrated from elsewhere to test the C instruction extension. These tests will both test the assembler implementation as well as the processor support.

A candidate is the self-checking tests implemented here. Unfortunately, the Ripes assembler does not yet support macros, so we may have to manually expand all of the macros and modify some of the assembler directives for the tests to work.
