Steps to Reproduce:
- Configure a node debug session, using useWSL: true
- Start debugging
- While it is running, open Task Manager, Details, sort by Name, scroll down to 'node'
- Click the "Stop Debugging" button in VS Code
- 'node' process doesn't get terminated
