VS Code crashes on windows when I configure an MCP server with a name ending with a * #250616

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No
- VS Code Version: 1.100.3
- OS Version: 10.0.26100 Build 26100
Steps to Reproduce:
- Configure a MCP server in .vscode/settings.json like so:
"mcp": { "servers": { "Digga*": { "url": "https://719d-213-144-149-226.something.app/mcp" } } } - Save & wait a second
When I reopen VS Code after that it disappears again after a second.
