We have the references view which out of the box can show References, Implementations, and Call Hierarchies. It's the one-stop-shop for symbol navigation/searching. We should make this view open for contributions so that "symbols results" for which we don't have a provider-API (yet) can be shown in a familiar place. A type hierarchy would be a sample for that.
