I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence in Munich, Germany. I did my PhD in the Machine Learning in Science lab led by Jakob Macke, and was a member of the Max Planck International Research School for Intelligent Systems.
I work on machine learning tools for scientific discovery. Together with many other amazing people, I am developer and maintainer of the following two toolboxes:
- sbi, a PyTorch toolbox for simulation-based Bayesian inference and
- Jaxley, a differentiable simulator for biophysically detailed neuron models in JAX.
